Cats sit in white circle markings on the sidewalk in photos from the Philippines that were recently posted on the Internet. The photographs were shot in front of the market, and the circles were painted to assist people maintain social distance; it’s extremely unlikely that municipal officials had the cats in mind when they chose to make them.

Cats, on the other hand, appear to follow the social distancing guidelines effectively, and they are well-known for their fondness for squares and circles on the ground. However, we’ve always thought of cats as rebellious creatures, and the photographs of these cats are rather entertaining.

Maybe we can learn a thing or two from cats… The images drew a lot of attention and quickly went viral. The majority of the users praised the cats’ restraint and hoped that people were that disciplined.

Coleen Joice Aquino posted photos of stray cats sitting inside social distancing signs on a Quezon City sidewalk.

The pics quickly became viral. For almost ten minutes, the felines remained inside the marks. Normally, this gang of cats comes here in quest of food.

Coleen, a resident of Quezon City, posted the photos on her Facebook page. That’s when the incredible images went viral and even made the headlines.

Coleen claimed she was out on a stroll when she came across the kitties. “These cats were just wandering around the public market where our vegetable business is located when I shot the photographs on May 10th. That was the first time I’d ever seen cats in circles.”

Coleen claims she had no idea her photos would become viral. “I merely shared them on social media because I thought they were adorable and interesting.” She also mentioned that her city was undertaking an Enhanced Community Quarantine at the time she shot the photographs (aka an ECQ). “However, it is currently under Extreme ECQ.

Cats keep coming back in search of food.

She told the local press, “I was so happy I shot pictures of them.” She further said that these special cats are stray cats that frequent the area in search of food.
If you believe their behavior is strange, you should know that cats enjoy being inside circles and squares. It’s a natural reaction.

“Under the wild, they will hide in an empty tree trunk to avoid predators. As part of their normal nature of persecution and predation, they will hide in this tree trunk to ambush their prey, “she explained.” Placing them in a circle would provide a cat a sense of comfort and security, and, at least in their eyes, a higher chance of survival. ”
