Аfter Тhe Рrevious Оwner Рasses Аway, Тhe Сat Finds А New Нome

Moxie the calico cat was lucky to find itself under the care of Cat Town rescuers in Oakland, California, in August 2021. The organization’s goal is to find “wonderful homes for cats that are considered unacceptable in the standard rescue paradigm.” And the fact that this is the first cat café in the country means that these cats are in extremely capable hands.

They place cats that look problematic in shelters in the homes of loving caregivers until they are ready for adoption, using a cage-free technique. They then travel to an Adoption Center, where individuals can meet them in a well-designated living space.

According to Cat Town’s website, “we give them as much time as they need to locate their home.”

Moxie found a loving home with someone who would truly appreciate her thanks to their perseverance. They posted a photo of her kissing him on Instagram.

“Moxie has been adopted and sealed the deal with a kiss! We’re happy for Moxie and her partner!”

They included the same wonderful photograph of the calico in their monthly blog.
They commented, “The adoption photo of Moxie and her human says it all: the relationship we share with our cats is real, and each is individually beautiful.”
Thanks to community assistance, the team was able to save over two dozen animals from shelters in only one month.

Moxie’s first home, it turned out, was merely temporary. She was the constant friend of her adoptive parent, according to Cat Town, until he unfortunately passed away. Thus, because of a kind neighbor, she was able to reunite with the rescue squad. Moxie then found her beloved home # 2 thanks to a lucky turn of events.

“Moxie is adopted (again), and we’m excited!” tha Cat Town. Moxie’s adoptive mother recently died and a compassionate neighbor contacted us for help. ”

As a result, Moxie returned and the band worked with him to get him ready for a new home. Then something extraordinary happened.

Moxie calico met a special person who came to their birthday before being adopted in 2021. (see photo below). They met Moxie at the Adoption Center at the time and fell in love with her. They even photographed Moxie for her. However, they were not able to adopt it at the time.

It seemed that fate was finally ruling her again, she found a family with a good heart.

Moxie has gone through a lot, but because of the rescuers, she has found not one, but two beloved homes.

“Our goal is to find each cat in our care a loving home for the rest of their lives. That is why we assure every Cat Town cat that they will never have to live in a cage again. We “We are delighted to have been able to keep that promise to her, and we are delighted that we have been able to provide Moxie with not one, but two wonderful homes.”

People reacted to the incredible news on social media:

“Look at that beautiful family portrait; “I’m sure Moxie’s initial adopter would be very happy to hear that she found a home forever,” said one reader.

Another individual posted on Facebook:

“I am heartbroken to learn about her first adopter’s death. Moxie and both of her families were supposed to be there. ”

“In most cases, the cat finds its people; in this case, the people who knew who their pet was did. It’s always magical, no matter what, ”another individual added.

Moxie the calico seemed to have been born to love two households. She is once again sharing the love, thanks to her guardian angels at Cat Town.
