For years, all Noah ever wanted was a kitten to call his own. When he woke up on Christmas two years ago and discovered that Santa had brought him Sir Meowsalot (Meowser for short), he couldn’t believe it. The 2-month-old kitten was just as happy to meet Noah as Noah was to meet him, and almost instantly, the pair became best friends for life.
“There was an immediate connection with my son Noah and Meowser,” Ashley Crow, Noah and Meowser’s mom, told The Dodo. “They were inseparable.”
It’s now over a year later and nothing has changed. Noah and Meowser are closer than ever and do absolutely everything together. Wherever one goes, the other one follows, and every day it becomes obvious just how special their bond really is.
“Meowser greets him with chips, purrs and meows every morning and every time he comes in the door,” Crow said. “They play everything together like dress-up to hide-and-seek to riding on Noah’s skateboard and Hot Wheels with him.”
Noah and Meowser are rarely apart — and have even developed the cutest way of napping together.
Whenever it’s time for bed or even just a quick rest, Noah and Meowser settle in together, and every single time, Meowser decides to sleep right on top of Noah, enveloping him in a hug. It’s the sweetest thing ever and always brings a smile to everyone’s faces …
… and it doesn’t seem like it’s going to stop anytime soon.
“They have such an uncommon bond and have had it from day one,” Crow said. “One thing is for sure, when Noah lays down, Sir Meowsalot lays down on top of him.”
Noah and Meowser have a bond like no other, and there’s no doubt in anyone’s mind that they’ll be best friends for life.
“If you ask Noah who his favorite person in the world is, he will always answer with Sir Meowsalot because he’s more than just a cat,” Crow said.
