A cat broke his spine and had some deep lacerations, the cauliflower’s ears. Some large animals must have attacked him. The extra skin on his face always looks like a terribly sad cat. Shelter staff said Ben Ben knew the fact that he would be put down soon so he would not eat, drink and didn’t want to walk around like a normal cat.
But then there was a kind-hearted woman who working in an emergency room veterinary hospital decided to adopt this poor saddie animal.
Knowing they were running out of time, a couple was hurry to get to the shelter.
“We managed to get everything sorted out the day before his scheduled euthanization and brought him to be a family pet in his forever home, ” the kind lady said.
Surprisingly, within an hour, Ben Ben was incredibly different when he was on his way to the new home!
“When we first brought him home we brought him into the bathroom to give him a moment to adjust to our other cats,” the couple said.
“We sat down with him for about an hour and he was instantly full of purrs, smiles, and ‘thank you’ cuddles.”
“I like to think he knew he was safe and had his forever home at that moment.
“It only took about an hour for him to start getting curious about his surroundings.”
“And even though the vets said he would never walk again he was determined to prove them wrong.”
