Pieru is a kitten that has been said to have a very lovely side, but she also has a very mischievous side. He has liked doing things he wasn’t supposed to do since he was a child, especially if it included dumping stuff from a height.
Pieru’s mother, Kerstin Reif, told The Dodo:
“Shortly after he came, he found that his favorite activity is knocking things down.”
Throwing things is this cat’s favourite activity.
Pieru’s family has given him the moniker “Getoffthetable” since he is so motivated to knock down anything from any surface in the home (come off the table).
Until one day, when he found the garbage can, the cute feline’s activities were mostly harmless.
Kerstin explained:
“Unfortunately, our trash can is next to the table, and when something is thrown out, it definitely creates strange noises. I misplaced my pen about a year ago and discovered it in the garbage; I was certain I did not toss it there, and it was not left in such a way that it could have fallen on its own.
Kerstin suspected Pieru had thrown her pen, and there was a list of other items that had gone missing. Pieru had been throwing things away and no one had noticed, which was the only explanation for these unusual happenings.
Kerstin usually remembers to check the trash can after checking everything else, especially if anything is missing or before dumping it into the main garbage can. He’s been able to locate scissors, pencils, the salt shaker, and the TV remote control since then; it’s a joke that Pieru is quite proud of.
The most interesting element is that the cat makes no attempt to hide the fact that it enjoys throwing things. He likes that his family be aware of his actions. It’s far more entertaining for him to have his family watch him do one of his pranks or throw something away.
Kerstin had this to say:
“I’m sure he has a smile on his face sometimes because he appears so confident of himself. While moving something, he glances at us… He smiles and throws it away when you say ‘Pieru noooo’ »
Pieru enjoys throwing items off surfaces, especially if they end up in the garbage can, and he has no intention of stopping.
