A Heartwarming Rescue: Dog Saved from Death Minutes Before Euthanasia Becomes a Hugging Phenomenon

Due to insufficient spaying and neutering, numerous southern states are overrun with dogs. However, many shelters kill dogs because they believe it is their only option. But it is not the dogs’ fault that humans lack accountability! Therefore, they do not merit to die in such a horrific manner.

Dog Robin was about to be euthanized until he was rescued. When he learned he was safe, he had the cutest expression! During his examination, he thanked the veterinarian for giving him a second chance at life.

Robin was discovered as a stray and was promptly adopted by a kill shelter. Due to his leg injury, he was not even given a fighting chance. The dog was scheduled to be euthanized very soon. In fact, he was mere minutes away from being euthanized when several heroic individuals stepped forward to save the day.

Robin was transported to Vet Ranch, where he was examined for injuries. Doctors drugged him so that they could take extensive x-rays of him and examine some of his lumps with greater precision. According to the veterinarians, his leg appeared healthy on the x-ray. It was only scratched, not broken! During Robin’s anesthesia, the veterinarians neutered him.

The best part of Robin’s veterinarian visit was, however, his reaction to everything. Instead of appearing timid and frightened, he softened slightly. He knew he was in competent care.

During the examination, Robin thanked the veterinarian as best he could. While she was describing his operations in a video, the dog gave her the most affectionate hugs. It appeared that he was aware that she was helping him avoid euthanasia. And he felt better than ever after seeing the vet!

One of the veterinarians stated, “He has shown no signs of lameness since we adopted him from the shelter.” “We are happy to report that he is now healthy and available for adoption.”

Robin had a difficult beginning to his life, but he is no longer close to death. Veterinarians believe he is still young, so he will live a long, happy life with his forever family. It’s encouraging to know that so many people are willing to fight for dogs like him.
