Everyone who saw photographs of this puppy with such gleaming fur and captivating eyes could not believe it was the same lonely and depressed street dog.
After living a life of isolation, abandonment, and helplessness on the streets, Di Bo endured hunger, weakness, and a variety of diseases. Domestic puppies are treated from birth for these diseases, but stray puppies are not.
In early July, a man named Ye Yufng Yp learned of his plight after viewing a Facebook post from a Beijing-based organization that rescues street children.
It was a dog that had been abandoned in deplorable conditions on the streets of Houlng, Malaysia. The images of his child broke his heart, so he went to feed his child. What he saw was heartbreaking: the child was malnourished, mistreated, filthy, and ill, and no one wanted to adopt him.
At the request of the rescuers, the Yp family agreed to adopt him permanently despite his 14-pound weight, horrible skin condition, and extreme emaciation from prolonged confinement.
After only a few months, there were no more of that sick, malnourished dog. And he evolved into a magnificent, powerful, and fierce furry.
nd, while his family witnessed numerous displays of affection from the puppy, as if to thank them for everything they had done for him, they had no idea how big his heart was or how far his courage and loyalty would extend.
On Saturday morning, only the grandmother and the youngest family member were present at the family residence. When the young man learned of Di Bo’s intentions, he rushed to the garden to investigate. When he saw his small dog confronting a two-meter-long cobra, he retreated.
At one point, the courageous Di Bom opened his mouth and was bitten, causing him to fall to the ground.
The child observed his cheeks bleeding, his nose dripping, and his brows swollen. Even though they acted as soon as the parents arrived home and took him to the veterinarian, it was too late.
The owners of Di Bo discovered him challenging the cobr in the middle of the front door. Clearly, the puppy was the best guardian angel for the family, as the dangerous animal could have entered the home and attacked the child or the grandmother.
The small dog appeared to still owe them gratitude for saving him, and he intended to repay them once more, but this time in a horrific as well as heroic manner.
According to Ye Yufng, the dog died after devoting his life to the family, and they decided to bury him near the house, beneath a large tree that was one of his favorite places.
